Daughter of China...
Hope Flinchbaugh turns years of journalistic research on suffering
Christians into a wrenching story of a young Chinese woman’s unwavering
faith. Your world-view will never be the same!
"...a powerful portrayal of living faith and
radiant love in the face of persecution...."
Baroness Lady Cox, Great Britain
Nineteen-year-old Mei Lin has the misfortune of not only being a woman
in Chinese society but of choosing to become a Christian as well. A
tribute to all who stand for Christ, the book celebrates the hope found
in grasping the freedom of Christ no matter how oppressive the
surroundings.

Daughter of China... describes some true, horrific scenes of neglect and malnutrition
in one of China’s state run orphanages. While a few improvements
have been made in select orphanages, the need for adopting parents has
only increased in the last ten years. If you are considering
adopting a child from China, I would like to refer you to my friends
from Life Outreach International
www.lifetoday.org,
who are currently building an orphanage in China and can recommend some
reputable adoption agencies.
(From
Life Outreach International
The Adoption Process: From China With Love)
A large number of
healthy infants are available for adoption from China, and the Chinese
adoption program has received extensive praise from the U.S. government.
Although the process
does take 12 to 14 months, it is well worth the time and effort. LIFE
does not provide direct assistance in the adoption process nor can LIFE
recommend a specific adoption agency. We can, however, refer you to
these agencies for more information:
